Devotional Reading: Proverbs 11:1-14
Protection is a major issue in our world today. Many people spend so much money on security and protection, yet it fails them. One of the benefits accrued when you give your life to Christ is Divine Protection. It is available to every believer and a heritage of every born again Christian. God said in our devotional memorize of today “I will protect thy going out and thy coming in” it is a promise that cannot fail, you should hold unto it all the time, God never lies, he does not say what he does not mean. He said further that “even for evermore” which means no devil can terminate your life prematurely because God has put a divine plan in place to shield you against all Satan’s plan and evil agenda. Through the blood of Jesus, you have a heritage of Divine Protection in Christ Jesus. When you give your life to Christ, you are saved and raised up and made to sit together with Christ in heavenly places. Ephesians. 1:21 says you are far above the arrows of witches and wizards. Your new birth experience also translates you into the kingdom of His dear son. Colossians 1:13, a place of refuge and guaranteed security.
As you drive and walk around town, be conscious of the fact that God’s protection is over you, no attack of the enemy anywhere can come near you, as long as you remain under the wings of God’s protection. No assault, molestation or harassments of the enemy can come close to you. I John 1:5 says “for whosoever is born of God overcomesth the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world even our faith”.
Be conscious of the fact that you are a child of God and your father has promised that the sun will not smite you by day nor the moon by night. He said further in Isaiah 43:2 “when thou passeth through the waters, I will be with thee: and through the rivers they shall not overflow thee: when thou walketh through the fire, thou shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee” That is a powerful promise.
Psalm 91:1&2 further buttress God’s sure protection over you. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
There is a guardian angel assigned to every child of God and the angel is charged with the responsibility of protecting and preserving you from destruction. “Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared” Exodus 23:20. The mission of the angel is to keep you safe in the journey of life, until He brings you to the place prepared for you to flourish and be fulfilled.
Num 23:23; Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel; No evil enchantment can touch you under the wings of God.
I decree over you and your family all through this year 2021 and beyond, the sure Divine Protection of God will be established upon you and your family in Jesus name. You will not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day. You are protected under the wings of Jehovah ALMIGHTY in Jesus name, Amen.
Prayer point: Thou omnipotent God, please let your shield of protection be established all around me in Jesus name.
